The red panda is an endangered omnivorous animal. It currently inhabits forests in various Asian countries.
They have a strong preference for eating bamboo but can consume other foods as well.
They have a solitary and territorial nature, and they are nocturnal animals.
They typically measure from 30 to 40 cm. Their long tail provides them with stability for moving through trees.
They are solitary and calm animals. Females can give birth to one to four cubs.
The red panda is a member of its own family and is not directly related to bears or raccoons. Instead, they share a common ancestor.
